Penultimate harvest of the year

Writer's picture: CripCrip

Persimmons. "Ryoma" Ginger. "Sanshu" Ginger. "Yamato" Sato Imo. "Beni Haruka" Sweet Potatoes.

There's forecast to be rain (or possibly snow!?) tomorrow so I tried to get in as much as possible. We still have some persimmons on the trees which might suffer and there are two other varieties of Sato Imo still in the ground but covered so they should be alright. Our kitchen and rouka are full of crates waiting to be taken off to a near-by former mine (where we're storing stuff over the coldest months this year) on wednesday, and these crates will probably end up in the living room for a couple of days! Hopefully we won't suffer as much loss as we did last year.

Probably won't get this all crated up much before midnight. We'll see how it goes.
