Two projects this winter. We're converting an old tractor barn into a wash station and an old tobacco drying shed into a Rocket Mass Heater fired vegetable drying shed.

Growing

Beans. Beans. Beans

Broad Beans, Snap Endo and Green Peas are all planted and seem safely established. Masses of Garlic this year and it seems to be doing fine. Once the frosts are over, the covers will come off and having added some compost tea fertilizer, all that will remain is the harvesting.

Living

Dang, it's cold!

It was minus 10 C the other night, I think that's the coldest we've ever had it here.
